When the hydrocolloid particles come into contact with wound exudate, they gel; thus keeping the wound environment moist, while preventing the wound dressing from sticking to the wound. The Vaseline moisturises dry wound areas and the wound edge.

Skin protectant cream containing 30% Manuka honey and 2% dimethicone for relief from chapped or cracked skin, eczema, and moisture associated skin damage. Medical-grade Manuka honey is combined with soothing agents such as kukui oil and shea butter to nourish skin, restore skin moisture balance, and protect against burns. It is non-sticky, non-greasy, easy to apply and leaves a pleasant, long-lasting fragrance on the skin.
