Unlike the non-adhesive version, Vliwasorb adhesive with its elastic, skin-friendly adhesive membrane is designed for use whenever quick and easy application is required. Vliwasorb adhesive adheres securely without the need for additional retention.

Indications

Moderately to heavily exuding wounds; pressure ulcers, arterial ulcers, venous leg ulcers, diabetic ulcers; postoperative wounds healing by secondary intention

Contraindications

Allergy or hypersensitivity to components; lightly exuding wounds; as a primary dressing on tracking fistulae or deep tunnelling wounds. The dressing must not be cut or torn.
