Sterile dark brown ointment and IODOSORB Powder is a sterile dark brown powder. Consisting of cadexomer (modified starch microbeads), polyethylene glycol and iodine. The cadexomer beads are biodegradable. IODOSORB Ointment/Powder will remove excess exudate and slough from the wound bed, and reduce bacteria at the wound surface. In doing this, it transforms into a soft moist gel.
