Family of collagen dressings, uniquely formulated with oxidised regenerated cellulose (ORC), and with demonstrated haemostatic properties.

Indications

management of wounds healing by secondary intenttion that are clear of necrotic tissue, including: diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, pressure ulcers, ulcers caused by mixed vascular aetiologies, traumatic and surgical wounds (can be used under compression therapy)

Contraindications

Active vasculitis; third-degree burns; sensitivity to ORC or collagen

Sterile, freeze-dried composite of oxidised regenerated cellulose and collagen. Gels on contact with exudate. Inactivates proteases and protects growth factors. Has demonstrated haemostatic properties, and can be used under compression therapy.
